I fly 3s and 4s in my gliders
futaba 14sg with telemetry
the external voltage supply is supposed to be soldered into the Motor battery wires
but
i use a voltage led readout and beeper that I leave plugged into the balance tap
it works fine
when I hear it beeping I land
i was thinking of using a "Y" harness on the balance tap and if the external voltage connection to it
i found a website that described connecting low power consumption devices to the balance tap and they work fine
all I need is a voltage read out they draws little to no power
plus my led readout/beeper
is this ok?

I found a website on use of lipos
he says that you can use a balance tap for all sorts of things
i googled
lipo balance tap use
or something
all I want to do is measure voltage for telemetry

lipo balance plug uses
i found an article from tjin tech - all about lipo balanceconnectors
and rc universe - pulling power from the balance plug
a response was - 1-3amp max and be careful to not draw too much from individual cells it will unbalance them
