I have been told that these cells are killer strong -and the charts show this to be true.
I want to use two 5 cell packs of these as radio packs for my large gasser.
How much charging current can I safely use on these?
any body tried them?
I figure 2 amps is safe -
I have a single 2700 Expert pack now but I want to split the load - to use more conductor capability.

it's been said by those wiser than I that you shouldn't exceed 1c when charging nimh's because it could overheat the pack causing premature breakdown in the cells. i would say that if you monitor the charging at 2a the first few times and check the temp of the packs (warm=ok, hot=not ok) you should be ok. i think it also depends on the quality of your charger. some chargers don't sense peak too well and overcharge, making them hot. others are too sensitive and cut off too soon.
