LiPo charging
I am using an FMA MkII Quick Field Charger to charge a 2100 mah thunder Power LiPo.
When I first started charging the battery, it would go to about 12.20 volts and the charger would beep at me and stop. (Ithink it stopped)
Just recently it keeps going to around 12.45 volts where I chicken out and disconnect it.
Any idea what is going on here?
I have used the battery MANY times,....I don't know 20 or 30 full charges. It has not been discharged to below 10. volts
Thanks for any info.

RE: LiPo charging
Hi Dick,
I use the Trtion and it chargers my three cell up to 12.60 volts every time. I know the cheaper chargers like the Hobbico quick flied charger and the E-flite Celectra only get up between 12.20-12.40. I don't think anything is wrong with your charger. You could call FMA and see what that charger is suppose to be charging up to voltage wise.

RE: LiPo charging
Same for my Triton... takes my 1500mAh 3 cell LiPo up to 12.6V at a 1.5A charge rate during the CC stage, and then drops the current down, keeping the voltage at 12.6V during the CV stage...
