Default nimh battery upgrade

HI EVERYONE:

I HAVE A GWS TRANS-QUAD AND I'M USING ( NIMH AAA 750 MAH 8.4 V ), CAN I

SWITCH TO A ( NIMH AA 1600 MAH 7.2 V ), TO GET MORE POWER, AND LONGER FLYING TIME.

IF NOT, WHAT CAN I GO TO.

You're staying in the same batt technology (NiMH), and moving to higher current discharge cells (which will have more weight for a given capacity), so your AAs will likely be more than twice the weight of the AAAs. How that will translate in to performance and flight time will be hard to say. You may actually reduce your max rpms since you're dropping a cell as well.

Going to LiPo cells would be the best upgrade from NiMH cells, IMO...
