Default Velcro on LiPo Batteries?

Hi Friends,

I just got my first two LiPo'sand was wondering if it was OK to stick velcro to themas a holding system in the airplane.

This is a habit from myNiCdand NiMh days. Any Thoughts?

Thanks

Default RE: Velcro on LiPo Batteries?

I know several builders that do just that! I have built a battery rack of 1/4" Liteply for my 6 5000mAh 6S Lipo's and velcro over the top with strap!

yes...that is the normal way...

on small (really small) just a patch of velcro on the battery is enough...

on larger,,,
then velcro on the pack and then a velcro strap around the battery....
