Is the tradeoff in weight ....
 

vs.power ever worth movin up in the MaH rating of battery packs? I am currently using 900mah 8.4v ni-mh batterys in a T-HAWK380 and was wondering if movin up a few 100 mah"s would be a benefit..maybe a 1100 mah or slightly higher???thank you...

some may disagree with me on this but I've found that if you can't pull the full potential from your current pack then the upgrade may give you more power/speed but not neccissarily more time. some motors can pull power harder than the battery can give it up making it important to have the correct size pack.
I had the gws zero and it always flew bad for me, it was underpowered and just barely flew. I was using cheap batteries of small capacity, I sold the plane to the lhs and they sold it to an employee how proceeded to fly the snot out of it. he said it flew great. the difference? .... he put a large mah battery of the same cell count I had, even though it was much heavier it was able to pull all the juice it needed and flew much better. you may or may not see a difference, you will probably have to try to find out for sure, look around, you may find higher mah batteries of same or better weight if you are lucky.
