Here is a [link=http://www.ai-online.com/issues/article_detail.asp?id=681]link[/link]to an automotive application. Looks like a phosphate based Li-Ion variant, much safer than Li-Ion or Li-Poly.

Red's right though, don't expect anything too soon, if at all.

Something that looks good on paper, and will attract investors and government grants - but once the money has been spent, it never comes to fruition.
