Default MCX or MCX2??

I have an MCX , mildly "tuned" with msr swash and shortened flybar, but unfortunately the 5 in 1 has had it and needs replacing.

Question is, is the MCX2 worth having over my MCX, is it worth buying an mcx 5in1 (not cheap i know and i as may well get a complete mcx for spares) or does the mcx2 have any advantages over the mcx.

I also have an msr, 120sr and an sr but occasionally like the "parkability"of a well set up mcx

TIA Geoff

The MCX2 is not a huge advantage over the original.
I do like my MCX2..
Guess it depends on the $$ difference.

get the MCX2 because eventually the MCX will be discontinued when a third MCX comes out, probably a scale one.

Thanks for that, I guess one thing i wanted to know is that the MCX 5in1 seems a pretty weak point and if it was replaced, i Definately dont want to do it more than once ,so, does anybody have issues with the 5in1 on the Mcx2?

My personal preference is the MCX. I have two of the MCX's and two of the MCX2's and I think the MCX flies much much better! I have one of the original yellow MCX's and one that was converted to the S-300. My MCX2's are a stocker and one with the carbon rod tail. Both the MCX2's can't make right sweeping turns, sometimes they start wobbling and fall from the air. The MCX's do not have this problem. It's like the MCX2's are too heavy. Anyone else see this problem? My MCX's are faster too. They just rock!
