Just broke my tail boom on my 120 sr so I can go to the LHS and get another with the motor for $15.00 or just the boom for $5-6.00 is there an upgrade that is stronger?

You most likely will only find the complete tail unit at the LHS. In fact HH sent me a complete tail unit when the wire came off the motor, instead of sending just the motor. You can find them on line, but shipping will cost almost as much as just getting the tail boom assembly.

Blade 120 Upgrades Mods Boom Support.

This is what I do to mine for the same reason you and other people have had with the booms being one of the weak links in the 120SR.

Boom supports with flex couplers to allow the boom to give a little (rigid boom connections are susceptible to boom developing hairline cracks
which lead to premature boom structural deterioration and finally breaking), are now integral to the latest MIA LG TUFF and "A" Style kits
developed for the Blade 120SR.
