Hey everyone I got my CX2 Dec 19th 2008 for my 48th birthday.It is my first RC Heli but I have been playing around with RC cars and trucks for several years.I am in no way an experienced RC operator but as you can see I am not a total newb I do have the RC concepts and just so you know I am disabled and on a fixed income so I have to save weekly to be able to buy parts for repairs or upgrades and the wife and I get $20 a week for our personal spending so my $20 bucks I use for my RC's.I live in a small country farm house and the rooms are small so I have rotorwash problems and I have not been able to get it trimmed out to the point to where I can do a hands free hover but I can fly it in the house up to the point to where the rotorwash affects the flight then I setdown and let the wind calm down and fly again.I do want to do some mods to it and set it up to fly outside when the wind will permit.My ultimate goal is to use the CX2 as a learning tool not just for learning how to fly but also how to upgrade a heli because I will go to a larger single rotor in the future.I want something I can fly outside even when it's a little windy and I know that there is a limit even for the larger heli's.Being able to put $20 a week back (as long as I dont need CX2 parts) I will hopefully be able to get a larger bird in a years time.That should give me enough time to get my muscle memory and flight experience built up.So with that said what in your opinions would you guys suggest I need to do to make my CX2 fly the best it can fly?I have read post here and at two other forums and I am wanting all the info from as many as I can get.Then I will know what I want to do to my CX2 and how much I need to save.

Have you seen this? It's a compilation of stuff that we know. I hope others jump in with personal opinions, but this is a great resource.
