Default Both stock...What's more powerfull Trex450 or Blade400?

I guess the Trex due to the ESC and bigger battery....That's my doubt, I posted this on the Trex forum but nobody seems to know so far. This is important for me since I'm changing my ESC on the Blade to use an Outrage 35C batt a little heavier but way more powerfull and I want to know what to expect....Thanks for any comments....

The Blade 400 comes with the largest motor in this size range ....a 420 (or is it 430?). Not sure what comes on the Trex but, if your concerned about performance don't be. Either one perform extremely well. However, I think the Trex 450 is your best bet for aerobatics.

Costa,

I can't speak for the Trex 450 V2, but I do own a couple of B400's and a stock Trex 450 Pro (the newest version)...

There is no comparison in power between my stock B400 and the Trex 450 Pro...the 450 wins hands down....a LOT more power than a stock B400, for sure...

But, it comes at a price, of course, alot shorter flight times, and a pretty darn hot motor after a 5 minute flight...

Hope this helps,

Glenn

Yup, I own the Blade and I'm happy with the power......just trying to figure out what could I expect with a better ESC and a 35c battery vs a TREX 450 SE....both seem to me very fine machines even with the quality diference.

I have both.

The B400 (420H) with a 35A ESC is very close in power and rpm to the 430XL/35A ESC.
Of course a lot depends on pinion choice.

The 430XL is slightly more powerful, puts out a little more wattage.

Just look up the specs for each... the output should be stated.

Well, so far I haven't noted a big diference between the 20C batt stock on the Blade and the 35C batt from Outrage, maybe I need to give it fw more cycles.

The stock 25A ESC probably can't supply any more current.
If you had a 35A ESC you should notice a big difference.
