Futaba 9257 servo in Blade 400
FYI, if you decide to install a Futaba 9257 rudder servo, it is worth it. It is a bit bigger than the stock servo, but it will fit the 400. a couple of tips that will help you out if you decide to do so.
1. Screw in the connector rod to shorten it's length as much as possible.
2. Use the wheel that comes on the servo and screw the rod end attachment ball on the inside portion. Of the 3 holes on top, use the farthest one to your left when installed (furthest towards the front of the heli when installed on servo)
3. Make sure that the 3 holes are horizontal on top (rod should when attached will be at 90 degree angle)
4. The rear attachment, holder, take it off and flip it around.
5. The attachment holes for the servo are bigger, so you will need to use washers, otherwise the screws will fall thru the hole.
6. Once you get done, center your rudder. The arm at your rudder should be 90 degrees when centered.
