cx questions

I just bought a Blade cx at a swap-n-shop, and I had a few questions about the helicopter.
1. If there is a knick in one of the blades will it effect the flight?
2. My Dad has the same frequency as my helicopter can i use his transmitter?
3.If i was to put a 2.4 Futaba receiver in my helicopter could i use it with my transmitter?
Thanks,
Alex

RE: cx questions

A knick in the blade will be alright so long as it isn't too big. I flew mine like that for months.

If your dad has the same frequency and the same brand if transmitter, yes, you can use his.

I suppose if you put your receiver in there it will work fine. Just make sure it's not too big/heavy. But the Blade CX comes with a rx and tx. I would just use that combo. Don't fix it if it ain't broke:)

RE: cx questions

The CX heli's use a 2 n1 receiver which also acts as a ESC. You can't changeit out unless you go with a completely different setup.

RE: cx questions

The knick is kind of medium sized. the other reply i got said i would not work, i have to change everything( receiver, servos). They said the receiver acts like a ESC. Is that true oh and I have a FASST so I think my receiver is small enough:D.

As I have previously said, it is a receiever and electronic speed controller in one. You cannot mix the Futaba and the Spektrum together.</p>
