msr rudder problems

My Blade MSR has been having a problem lately. It barely wants to rotate to the right, and when I give it more throttle, it rotates left. If I give it a lot of throttle it will darn near spin left.

Any idea on what's going on or how to correct it?

Sounds like your tail motor is going out. A heli naturally spins left as the blades rotate to the right. As the strength of your tail motor fades, it can't hold the nose straight.

Easy fix to throw on a new boom and motor. Keep your tail fin to put on the new one.

Good luck.

RE: msr rudder problems

Thanks for the tip. I swapped out the tail boom and tail motor assembly, and that did the trick.

I kind of suprised the motor went that quick, I didn't think I had that many hours on it. I also had to swap out the main motor to. Out of nowhere it just would generate enough lift to take off. I swapped batteries thinking it was something wrong with the battery, and it did the same thing. I swapped out the main motor, and with a new tail and main motor, she's flying like a champ.

I hope they continue to offer parts for the MSR since they discontinued it. It seems like I am always replacing parts on it.
