Training Gear

how difficult is it to fly without training gear? And also how hard is landing, like exactly what do you do to land?

RE: Training Gear

Repost? I thought I saw this somewhere else. Anyway, CX was my first heli, and I never got training gear. I was scared at first without them, but its super esy without them. I put my CP trainers on them and it flies differently, worse almost. Makes me feel unsafe with them on. I prefer it a ton without them. Landing with CX is a joke, its so stable it lands itself.

Minitman,

Actually, the CX is easier to fly without training gear. Gear on the CX makes it very sluggish and tipsy if the gear isn't perfectly balanced. Remember the CX only weighs about 8 ounces.
I'd go without the gear and just go slow.

RE: Training Gear

I just bought a CP today and installed the Training gear. It has already saved me three times. I can maintain a 1/2 second hover whoopie. I am sure there is something wrong with my "tune" sorry i'm a nitro guy and know nothing about heli's yet really.

It's truly a blast tho I love this thing. Just waiting for the next charge to try it out again. I'm starting to get the hang of it. It's scary flying this thing tho no room for mistakes.
