That tiny, tiny screw at the top of the fly bar...

As, I mentioned earlier, I just bought my CX from a buddy. He mentioned that he thought a screw went through the very top of the fly bar. But; it's not there. It shows it in the manual. He flew it a few times - no troubles. Is this something, I need? Do they sell it separately? In the manual, I don't see a part # for this tiny screw.

Thanks!

In theory the fly bar could come off in a crash. It's probably better to be safe than sorry though.

Part Number: EFLH1225 for replacement screws.

EDIT:

Also, it might be best to just go ahead I buy the set of screws. They come in handy ;)

For 25 bucks I would consider upgrading to the aluminum shaft. The way Its setup youll never have to worry about the flybar popping off and Its nearly indestructible..Just my 2 cents

Youll be happy with that shaft. Im very impressed with mine. Had a few pretty hard collisions with the ground and its tough as nails. Enjoy

keel the screw out incase you crash it will save the inner shaft from bending or breaking

You mean, leave the screw (actually; 2 screws) out of the top of the aluminum shaft?

I picked up the alum. shaft at lunch.

no way. If that end cap pops off youll never find it in the grass. Use it like it comes in my oppinion. Like I said Ive had some pretty hard impacts and I still havent bent that shaft. Its TOUGH
