Creating A Solid CP

Okay guys, I have a CP but I haven't flown it that much because it is glitchy and unstable and real wobbly. I am going to have the guys at the hobby shop fix it soon for me so it flies okay at least. But now to the point of the post.

I would like to have a couple of ideas thrown out here to create a solid flying CP. A guide if you will. What I am looking for is a good flying machine that will not self destruct when I try to fly it. I am not looking for is an ultimate 3Ding machine out of the little CP, I just want something that will allow me to do a FF. That's it. I just want to fly in circles. Right now mine doesn't want to do anything except for erratic movements and floating around the thin air wherever it wants. So, I want to hear what you guys suggest as how to create a nice flying and stable CP.

RE: Creating A Solid CP

I have about 7 batteries through my cp pro and am just getting to the point of hovering and putting it where i want to land. I would recommend really trying to tune your gain and tail pots inn...my first two flights looked like a yard sale....then i read as much as i could about tuning it in and getting the right adjustments and what to look for. The heli flys good now...it just takes time.

I found this document the other night. It is excellent, and has become my 'heli bible' of sorts:
