CP is going sideways....

Hello guys,

Just received my Blade CP last week, but only today i had the chance to try it out. Also take a note that i'm a newbie in helis.

When i increase the throttle the CP starts going sideways to the left. I tried trimming the ailerons to the right but i still get this sideway motion to the left.

Also i noticed that the mount(housing) of the rear motor is not fixed on the tail boom and if you apply a bit of force it turns left and right? Is this OK?

regards,

Nick.

1) make sure the swash plate is exactly level before take off

2) the tail rotor housing should be glued to the boom - if not apply superglu

Movement to the left is normal (unavoidable). The push of the tail rotor causes it.

Correct. left-drifting is NORMAL upon take off. It is less noticeable once you are in the air.

If you are a heli noob, you should check out the following site:

Not only will it teach you to hover without crashing, it also goes into some of the unique physics surrounding rotary flight, such as the left drift, etc...
