brushless question

Would a Walkera 3200 brushless motor with a 10 tooth pinion gear be too much for the Cp Pro to handle or will it generate too much headspeed? Do I need a different pinion? How do I remove the old one without destroying it or the motor? Same with putting on the new one.

RE: brushless question

You can buy a pinion puller for 10 bucks. I got 1 and its a very good investment.

As for putting it on I bought a small C clamp.Set the pinion on the end of the shaft and with much fumbling and dropping the pinion youll finally get it pressed on there.

As for the pinion size if you look on Horizon Hobby site under hopups for the pro, they list the pinion needed.

Dont know the answer to the Q about your existing pinion size.

RE: brushless question

rawvoodoo,

The brush less motors have awesome power, depending on how you want to fly. Back yard, sports or heavy 3D.

A 10 tooth is probably to much, suggest an 8 or 9 tooth at the max.
