Just got a cp pro for a christmas gift. First time I will try to fly anything. Have been reading radd's and hope to get started soon trying. My question is, the training gear set for the blade cp, will it fit on the blade cp pro? And also are the blades in the crash kit for the cp, will they fit the cp pro. Thanks for the help. Mark

The answer to your two questions is "yes" and "yes".
remember to take it slow, super slow at first.
the crash kit does however come with flat blades instead of the symmetrical ones that come with the cp pro.
The flat blades will fit on the cp and I've read will tame it down a tad although I cannot verify as i started with and stuck to the symmetricals.
I had no problem, but, did however fly the blade cx until i was completely bored of it and could manipulate it in every way and every orientation at will.

Should I consider trying to sell this heli and getting a cx that would be easier to fly. Returning it would be very hard as it was form out of state. Or is it possible to learn if I take it slow on the cp pro. Thanks

You can definitely learn on a CP Pro, just remember to keep it LOW and do not fly nose in until you can hover properly.

The best piece of advice I can give you, and I realize this won't make a ton of sense, but after it clicks, it will.


Don't be afraid and DO NOT THINK about what you are doing. Just relax and FLY the heli. Repeat that to yourself while flying if you have to.

If you start second guessing yourself you are going to bury the bird everytime, as you will begin to overcorrect when you don't need to.

Get it up, give proper inputs and keep it level in the air. You can do it =D!

I got a CP pro for Christmas too. Been flying planes for a few years. Only advantage from flying planes is I know how to turn on the radio.

Yes you can learn with the CP pro. Like bzinfinity said relax and have fun. I can now hover for a few minutes, recover when the wind moves it around. Hope to start flying foward and side to side next week.
