BCX2 main frame change?

Hi, newbie here. Christmas Flyer. I broke one of the battery tray posts off the main frame on my CX2 shortly after getting it, and bought a new main frame set from my LHS. The servo mounting and rear body mount braket is definitely different on the new one, the little bracket is wider and it was a PITA to get the servos back in there, it took some tweeking to say the least. I have it all back together and flying well, but what is up with the change? Did I get a newer or older main frame design as the replacement? Thanks. D

NICE mod job!! How does she fly now? Weight difference from stock? Flight video?? :)
About your replacement frame; I do know that there is a difference between the BCX and BCX2.......maybe they inadvertently sold you one for the older BCX?

The CX2 has smaller servos and the mainframe was changed on the cx2 to hold the smaller servos.

I didn't know there were any differences in the frames, the LHS guy said all the parts were the same. Oh well, I was able to make it work, but I'll be more careful next time. Are there any other parts differences besides the electronics between the BCX and BCX2?
