Cx 2 as first heli?
 

Not really the first, my first was a Venom night ranger fixed pitch.
JUNK!!! great customer support but not a heli for a newby.
I like the cx 2 would it be a better first heli because of the counter rotating blades.
My Picco z is very fun, but my dog could fly that.
Anyone want a Venom heli in a box?

How much you want for it? I have a friend who wants to get into the hobby on a FP heli.

A CX2 is a nice heli depending on what you want and what your end goals will be. The CX2 is VERY easy to fly after the initial learning curve....it almost hovers by itself. A CP is a completely different beast!

If you want a fun, easy to fly heli that you can fly in your house without much learning, the CX2 is perfect. If you want more of a challenge and want to eventually get into more faster flight and aerobatics, then get a CP.

Thanks for the input.. Im very interested in the CX 2 and most likley will get it.
The Venoms frame is broken, alot.. The radio equipment and motors are in great shape.
PM would be best as this is not the marketplace and we must follow rules.

I love my CX2. I got it for Christmas and have been flyinh it almost everyday.
I just picked up the Dynam Hughes 300 fixed pitch to help prepare for the CP Pro. I am able to hover in my basement with the fixed pitch heli pretty well now. woo hoo!
Sounds like Idid the opposite of you, got the CX2 first and then the fixed pitch heli.

I don't think I want to get a fixed pitch next. I think I'll grab a CP AirFrame, add my own electronics and fly that. Then when I'm good at it, upgrade it to the CP Pro by adding the hiller stuff, adding everything from the upgrade kit, and grabbing a silver canopy with CP Pro decals. Who says you have to dump $380 on a CP Pro after the CP just to get a few extra parts preinstalled that are otherwise cheaply available as upgrades for the CP?
