HELP!!!! BCX2 RANGE PROB!!!!

Hey guys, i'm obviously having a prob with my CX2 then because i can't get more than 30-50ft of range.....i actually neva noticed this prob until the other day because i have been flyin the bird close to me. The other day i was flying her and she jus dropped from the sky with the LEDs on the 4 in 1 all shutting off, i thought it was interference because of the area i was flying in but yesterday i was flying in an area i kno to be interferece free and decided to really fly her around and she dropped again from the sky about 30' from me.

That's when i suspected that there was a range issue with my CX2, so i went to three other areas and did a range test by setting the throttle trim up enough for the blades to spin and i walked away from the TX and in all three areas i couldn't get passed 40 or so feet before the orange status light turned off and the blades stopped spinning. I opened up the TX and checked all connections including the pigtail on the antenna and they were all fine, i opened up the 4 in 1 and the antennas were all soldered fine, batteries in the TX are new and volts reading around 6.2 and the battery on the heli is fully charged.

I'd like sumone with a WATT meter or access to one to please do a reading on their TX so i can see if there's a prob with my TX not pushing enough power or if it's an antenna issue or a RX (4 in 1) issue.

RE: HELP!!!! BCX2 RANGE PROB!!!!

I've done that type of range check with my CX-2, and got at least 275'... well beyond any practical flying distance.
You do have something wrong.

RE: HELP!!!! BCX2 RANGE PROB!!!!

is there good batts in the TX ? they shouldnt be below 4.5 volts, and there is no chance of interferance since its DSM. If you still cant figure it out then e-mail or call horizon hobby, they might have a good idea of what could be wrong.
