Gain

Ok i set my gain all the way down on my BCPP and set the proportion. Well now if i turn up the gain any at all the helicopter just speeds in a circle on the ground and if i get it into a hover it just does the same thing. I've tried *****g out the gain and barely having it on both resulting in a spinning heli :-/ So what am i doing wrong>?

Hello, try start with the basic baseline, center the tx trims and adjust the proportion till the copter stops turning in the wrong direction and begins to turn the opposite. now you have an idea where the proportion midpoint is, adjust the rest with the tx trims. try doing the gain then after you have it not spinning. you may have to tweak it a bit more again to perfect it.

RE: Gain

well what i've done now is set the gain almost all the way up and then set the proportion and that seems to work better but the tail isn't locked in place. I'm guessing the stock gyro won't hold the tail as stong as i would like it too

RE: Gain

you might also have a dying tail motor. What you describe is the symptom I had. Replaced the motor and all was well.
