Why does
My cpp head for the floor while hoovering and I gently pull back on the right stickamd as soon as i let the stick center and the heli rises?
Aslo If I grab on the blades end I can move the up and down. While picking up on one blade end the opposit blade will move down.I would think that there is to much play in there. correct? |
RE: Why does
Not sure about your slop q... check out bladecprepair.com... they go over all of the slop and where it is, and how much is ok... as far as the other problem, it is called sticky collective. I just posted on this within the last couple of days... you can look for that... or read up... this problem is well documented =)

RE: Why does
The a/c's lift changes when you move the collective. It's normal to add power to maintain altitude when you tilt the rotor more than a smidge.
[Edit] Also, note that it is normal as well for the rotor to be able to tilt a bit in the head-- it's called flapping, and it's there to compensate for differential lift in forward flight. Whether yours is normal or not is something you should research (see other comments here), or take it to your local hobby shop or rc club and see if you can get someone to look at it for you. |
RE: Why does
Rsking45,
Sounds like you may have broken the spindle or the o-rings in the rotor hub popped out. Check it out closesly. Also, it could be that the screws that hold the grips onto the hub are loose, those should be tight and use loctite on the screws.
