Eflight CPP
Having a problem when I advance the Throttle in than the Green Light turns Red when past the half way point. The batteries are fully charged and each cell reads 4.20 V. This problem started all of a sudden one day when I went to fly. I have a CX2 that I was learning on and did a fair job on making it hover, etc. So I thought I would move on Up and got an EFlight CP Pro and it has been a real challange to fly it. I have the Plastic Flat Bottom blades on it , otherwise it is stock. I was able to get it to leave the ground and fly around without hitting too many things, but now ai can't get it to leave the ground and it trys to skoot around on its training gear. I would appreciate any help in what to check out. This is all new to me as I have flown airplanes for years, gas prior now Electric.

RE: Eflight CPP
hrm... actually your problem isn't really a problem at all. It just means that the ESC is giving as many amps to the motor as it will take. About not lifting off the ground, there are several things that coulc cause that. Check your battery and make sure that it is full, or 12.4 to 12.6 volts. If that's not it and you can't see anything wrong with the setup (mainly blade pitches, or say the motor is too tight on the main gear), then the next thing would be to find out what you did between when it was working, and now when it is not?

RE: Eflight CPP
check the pitch of your main rotor blades. they should be at 0 deg at half throttle when in idle up. be sure to disconnect your motors when doing this.

Here is a link to a site with good basic tuning tips and pointers. Also a troubleshooting section. |
