new to the cp+! need help.
i just got the blade cp+ from a friend on trade. i traded him my moddified micro t for his cp+ w/ a blade balancer. the question i have is that no matter how much trim adjustment i make using the controller it seems that it always want to drift in one direction or another. so i was wondering if anyone had a detail description of how to trim this sweet lil whirly bird out through the servo links? ive seen some incredible videos of this thing, but cant really enjoy it myself because it wont hold a steady hover! thanks guys, chris

RE: new to the cp+! need help.
It will never hold a perfect hover, no matter how much trim you provide. YOU must fly it and maintain the hover yourself. Only a COAX wants to hover, a cp bird does not.
Practice, practice and more practice. Good luck, Michael |

With the flat bottom plastic blades and some time spent making sure the heli is setup correctly I can maintain a pretty good hover in a 2ft square. This will never be stable like a CX but a little extra time with it goes a long way.
Centre the swashplate, get your blade tracking dead on and make sure the CG is right and you'll be in good shape. You can also crank up the gyro but you'll go through motors quickly. Keep in mind that any change in the throttle input will require the tail to keep up somehow and after a while you'll just start 'flying the tail'. Good luck! |

thanks for the help! until recently i didnt know that it would move around on its own due to the air that its pushing out. im guessing that mine is fairly well setup seeing as how it only slightly drift in any given direction. i notice that it tends to do it alot less when flying in idle up. seems easier to control too. again thanks, chris
