set the default rotor speed for idle up switch
Is there any way to reduce the rotor speed when using idle up and the stick is at center? Is it a fixed speed that has no adjustment or what? I know the pitch can be adjusted with the linkages but id like to toy with the rotr RPM a little.

Gitrdun,
Don't know what kind of heli you have, if you have a stock transmitter, I don't believe you can adjust the motor rpm. With a programable Transmitter you can adjust the throttle curve. A stock Transmitter is set internally in the TX and can't be change. Sorry, its a Blade CP+.
I didnt figure it was adjustable ona a stock Tx. just wanted to experiment with it a little. |

Gitrdun,
Hmmmm, the Blade CP+ comes with a main motor with a 9 tooth pinion. You could spend 10 bucks and get a main motor with 8 teeth. That would slow it down just a tad. Here's a link, it's about 4/5 down the page or so. Or slap in a 7 volt lipo in, if you have one, but it probably wouldn't get it off the ground. If you want more power, get a 10 tooth. john h., you mean you don't read all the posts? - i thought it was required !!!
gitrdun: check the 4/3-in-1 for being in 1 part, or 2 parts stuck together with sticky tape - if you have a 2 part 4/3-in-1, then you could'a had a dx !!! - hardest part of converting over (besides the price hit lol - dx7 radio and ar6000 is about 400$) is prying the 2 parts apart, the rest is just swapping pins and setting up the dx7 edge |
