help! blade cx2 control problems

hello friends! first post on this forum, hope you guys can help. a little history on my cx2: i just got my heli back from horizon, i had a pretty bad crash and i was not able to make all of the repairs myself, despite ordering the parts. i sent it to horrizon, they finished the repairs and returned my heli at no charge. they also test-flew it said it was fine. now, on my second batter after getting it back, the heli started to fly forward and to the left, despite full stick and trim input. i checked the balance, all is fine there. i also tried to adjust the length of the pushrods to level the swashplate (found the info on how to do that on this forum, you guys really know your stuff!). now, the little eyelets have been screwded in all of the way (one turn at a time) and the heli still has these tendencies. i can hover it, but only with a fair ammount of back/right stick. the trim is not enough to counter-act this problem. any ideas on what to do next? thanks to all who reply! rob

hmmm. somthing is still off then. maybe its your lower head assembly. That can throw off your swashplate if its not on right. If your servo control arms are screwed in all the way then somthing else must be causing your swashplate to be off. I'd first off check the lower locking collar on the outer shaft to make sure that it doesn't have free play. Then check your lower main head assembly to make sure you top screws are in the hole of the outer shaft.

If you have run out of adjustment on the push rods, you can remove the control horn from the servo and reposition it on the spline. This should let you readjust the ball sockets back to the center so you can try again. Just move it one or two teeth!

problem fixed! it looks like the two halves of the swash plate (upper and lower) had separated. i pushed them back together, returned the servo control arms to their approximate original postions, and headed up to the attic to test-fly it. my heli now flys perfectly! i want to thank all of you gentlemen for taking the time to point me in the right direction and for offering your ideas on how to fix this problem. your time and concern are much apprecaited! that's what this forum/hobby is all about. thanks........rob

yessssss, a seperated swashplate :D I've read that happening a few times. Some of the guys in here highly recommend the aluminum swashplate.
