Newbie Servo Question

When should my servo's be at 90 degrees on my Blade 400.......after plugging the batt in, my servos are set to be as close to 90 when both left and right sticks are centered.
Is that correct? Or should they be at 90 at low stick position after plugging in?

RE: Newbie Servo Question

Sounds right on. By the way what helicopter are talking about? If it is the B400 it wouldn't hurt to do it in idle up mode. Some people program different pitch curves at half stick for normal and idle up mode and it will make a difference. If they are the same at half stick and above you won't notice a difference.

RE: Newbie Servo Question

Your servos should be at the 90 degree position on power up with the left stick all the way down and centered and the right stick centered. Make sure you have the trims, except the throttle centered. I hope that answers your question about the servos. Let us know if you need anything else.

RE: Newbie Servo Question

Unplug two of the wires on your motor. Flip it to idle up and then center the left stick. At this setting everything should be 90 and level. The servo arms should be horizontal, except the tail and elevator (under battery). Those should be perpendicular to the servo body. Your swash, washout arms and blade grips should all be level.
