the best I could suggest is take your cx2 to your lhs and see if they will let you try a test fit...

I just reviewed the main chassie and looked at the comanche skin too on several sites. I know for a "fact" that Esky & CX2 main gears and shafts all fit each other. So it would be fair to say the skins would fit each other too! But what troubled me after going to several sites and looking at the body, I don't see how you would get the battery in with the hull as it is sealed in the back where the CX is not. rchotrodz has it right, go to your LHS and see what they say.
