I have seen it done by someone here and it was a lot of work. You have to squeeze 2 ESC's and a fair amount of wires onto the frame. It did not look good and to be honest, why do you need that? I upgraded to the Xtreme motors from ushobbysupply.com or boomtownhobbies.com and they were more powerful and a little lighter then the stock ones. With the 850mah battery it flew about 10 minutes. Brushless just seems like overkill. I would spend the brushless money on a fixed pitch machine like a honeybee for $100.

I have a Walkera #4. I just like my Lama V3 because its easy to fly and a ton of fun. I never get bord with it. Just thought it would be faster and fly longer with the brushless. But thank you

I'd rather convert a more capable single rotor into brushless..

That'd be one damn expensive cx2 :P

People are using the Team Losi Xceleron brushless stuff in smaller helis.. Cheap but good stuff...

Joeyhatch11 ~

I see this question pop up every once in awhile, so I always save this link to give to whom ever was inquiring about the brushless set-up... Go here and you'll see pics/links/ and websites to make your CX2 brushless:

I've never done it, but some have. Some guys are just happy with the small coaxials, with no intentions of moving up and that's fine, to each his own... The neat thing is you can run 3-cells, no heat issues, quieter, and weight issues would be now be just a memory of the past.

It's gonna cost ya some bills, but If your into this heli for a long term relationship it might be a fun little project....

Anyway, good luck to ya.

Thank you that really helps. Now i just have to see if it's really worth the time and MONEY. I didn't think it would cost $200+ That's crazy. I was thinking around $150 or even a little less.
