Problems with upgraded CX2
I've upgraded the engines and batteries on my CX2 and it's much more powerful. The trouble I have now is that it seems to shear teeth off the drive cogs. Does anyone know of a rememdy for this or can I buy metal versions of these cogs instead?

RE: Problems with upgraded CX2
Your motors are probably to far away from the main gears, so the gear mesh isn't correct. If I remember right there isn't much adjustment available for the motors on the CX2. So you might have to drill the motor mounting holes closer to the mainshaft so you can get the motors closer to the main gears.

You could be right, there does seem to be a bit of a gap. I will have a try later when I have a suitable drill to hand.

RE: Problems with upgraded CX2
I have also upgraded the motors to the extreme se180's. I have not had this issue with the gears stripping. Like others have said before. Make sure there isn't a gap between the the motor gears and the main gears. Unfortunately, they won't make the aluminum upgrade for the main gears, because of the issue w/ crashes. If the gears don't give in a major crash then you run the risk of ruining the motors.
