RE: NEW EVOLUTION CORE, FLYRCRIVESUD
Lol Mmike. You are right. It was Snow White's little buddies playing Santa's helpers, versus Cinderalla's little friends. As usual. I stand corrected. Unfortunately for Sonat/Sonny/RCRIVESUD, these may in fact be the last upgrades I need/purchase for my CX-2's, except for replacement batteries (not even a blade ding YET!!!!). Thank you for pointing out my mistake on little people identification. But, do install the Evolution Core V2. You will not be disappointed.
Disclaimer - NO LITTLE PEOPLE were injured during the installation, use, review, or keyboarding of this review.... :-) SONAT/Sonny/RCRIVESUD -thanks for making these upgrades that are a true improvement, and lettting us abuse them to try to make them not work. Mine continue to work, increase my flying pleasure and ability, despite my best efforts! |
RE: NEW EVOLUTION CORE, FLYRCRIVESUD
I've put quite a few batteries through my CX-2 and am still really pleased with the Core V2 upgrade. I still cannot think of anything I would do different on the install. I've been running the same set of blades for close to a week. I still think I'm getting an extra half a minute of controlled flight, and the thing seems to be half as loud as it was. No apparent wear on any newly installer parts. And, gives me something to do while my SR battery is charging.

RE: NEW EVOLUTION CORE, FLYRCRIVESUD
Just to clarify I am not bashing or saying anything bad about this system at all. I am simply looking for clarification on something I read on another website about this system not working with upgraded Xtreme 180 SE motors. Nothing was ever explained as to why it wouldn't work. I am wondering if anyone knows if this is true and if so why? I am very interested in purchasing this system since I have seen the excellent reviews, but don't want to spend money on an upgrade I can't even use. Any help would be appreciated.

RE: NEW EVOLUTION CORE, FLYRCRIVESUD
Thanks for the quick response. I talked with Sonny and he verified that this was a problem with V 1.0 but not with V 2.0. Looks like I will be ordering V 2.0 shortly.

Sonny, as much as I may not like French people because they eat snail and frog legs ( think of all the poor frogs hopping around with no legs?). I really enjoy your French inputs to the English language. No apology needed. YOUR ENGLISH IS MUCH BETTER than my French!
Thanks for keeping us flying, rotorbroke.... PS You speak better English than most of them people from England! I would love to hear you say aluminum and schedule! |

RE: NEW EVOLUTION CORE, FLYRCRIVESUD
Mr Sonat. My Revolution Core V2 has been installed for a couple weeks and I have been flying the H-E Double Toothpicks out of it and cannot find a single flaw, nor can I offer ANY improvements on your materials or installation. I'm sorry. But I would like to add that I believe many CX fliers, not just your users (sorry again), would benefit from watching your installation video's numerous times just to see what makes their helo tick and better understand any repairs and adjustments needed. It's 6:45 am here and I just watched them again and was amazed, AGAIN. Gotta go now. Sun is coming up, backyard WX station says zero wind, and I got two RCRIVESUD batteries to burn before the Sun comes all the way up and the wind catches up! I learn from your video every time I watch it. To be honest, until I saw you do it, I always inserted the inner shaft from the top and then attached the gears... your way is far superior and I say way fewer bad words, in English!
PS Your English gets better everytime I watch your two video's ! How do you do that? |
