Looking for 40 size sport electric

After several years off I am returning to the hobby. Previously I had decades of experience including 480 size electric planes and helis, also gas and glo. I am looking for an electric plane slightly larger than a Pulse 15 like the pulse 40 but the kit appears to be an old design. Maybe you fellows could suggest a sport plane/motor combo using 2s 4000 mAh batts. that would be easier for me to see than the 480 size planes and better suited to a grass field.
Thanks!

Good day sir. As an old flyer myself I have switched to all electric power. I am not familiar with the pulse 15 or 40 you mentioned but there are many 40 size models to choose from. As for a 40-46 size motor I can recommend the "Turngy G46 550kv or 670kv electric motor. I found mine at " Hobbyking.com". As for the battery it requires a 5 cell lipo. Running with a 14x10 electric prop it will fly your 40 size model with vigor if needed. I'm not aware of a 40 size motor that will run on a 2 cell lipo. Hope I have been of some help.

Thanks Hesp. I suspected a 5s was needed.

40 size electric motor

Good day again sir. I live & fly on my land at 7700' elevation in Colorado. The air here is much thinner than at closer to sea level. This thin air requires a different learning curve in order to fly. The motor I suggested to you will fly 40/46 size models at this elevation, no problem. I use APC 14/10 props. This motor will also fly 60 size models with high wing type large sq.inch areas. If I can be of any further help please feel free to PM me. Good flying to you.

Thanks again Hesp.

You might look at World Models and their US distributor Airborne Models.
