esc hot

Default esc hot

esc get hot when batt is plug in,andnot running ?

Sounds like something is shorted out. Do you have a Ohm meter? If so, you can check out the plug to see if there is a short.

thank for reply.no ohmsreader but friend mite.notice a wire from esc to motor chip the over day ,tapeit but not fixe problem.airplane is hawksky 18a escbatt 1800mah 11.1v 15c

The ESC should not get hot just from plugging the battery in. It needs to be replaced.

Did you accidentally hook up the battery backwards at any point? That will ruin the ESC instantly.

HI Matt,thank for responding.Ok got my new combo microjet v3 from grayson in and it does get warm to hot in couples minutes after plug batt in. All connection hard wire,set up batt 11.1v 20c 1800mah spectrum rx ar6000 esc 20aA motor microjet v3. HELP.
