Default timing an electric motor

could you help me in timing my orio rush motor with a 7 cell battery 1500mah and with or without a digital amp meter the easiest way possible also useing a 7x4 or 8x4 prop Thanks Lynn

Default timing an electric motor

"timing" an electric motor consists in orienting the brush holder (end) to the case, by watching the ammmeter with the motor running under load as you rotate the end. Watch for the minimum current reading.
Some motors make this impossible, others are quite easy.

Thanks, Is that the bottom line ,the minimum current is what we look for or just a little higher than minimum>?
