What size motors? What size plane? What size prop? Depends on all those factors.

The motor would replace a .46 glow

It still depends on a number of variables, but in general, higher Kv equals higher RPM (sort of like a higher gear in your car). If you are spinning a smaller prop with a lower pitch, then a higher Kv may be better. If you have a bigger prop with higher pitch, then a lower Kv may be better.

So, it goes back to what size prop, what size plane, and how it will be flown.

WeboCalc can help answer questions like this. Just enter your plane's vital statistics (wingspan, wing area, likely AUW, and projected flying style) to calculate needed input power and a useful range of props, Kv and gear ratios.

If using a similar prop pitch/diam. to the .46 then the 670 might be the way to go as 14x670 = 8000+ similar to .46
