Default 4 Channel Park Flyer. Harbor Freight P51 No Good. Need Advice

So I've been flying nitro stunt planes for 12 years now. I have also flown full scale aircraft and RC helis (no not the co-axial ones the real ones lol). Anyways, since I moved into town recently, I have no where to fly my larger nitro stunt planes so I picked up the Harbor Freight P51 so I could just walk down to the park, hand launch it and have a good time. Little did I know this plane is very difficult to fly with the stock motor let alone the range sucks. I'm used to my nitro planes where I have all the power in the world where I can just hang nose up in mid air. So this was very sad. I had my buddy throw it and it would "glide" then just fall out of the sky. Maybe if I was closer to sea level it would fly OK but not where I live, I guess.

So I am returning that plane tonight however I would still like to get a 4-channel park flyer. This is also my first time in the electric world since I love nitro. But for my sake, flying in town at a park, I just want a small "cheap" 4-channel electric park flyer I can hand launch and have some fun with. Any idea on whats out there and what's good? No more than $150 USD.

Thank you.

I assume you have a transmitter. This is one suggestion near your price point.http://www.hobbytown.com/Shop/EFL615...280-BNF-Basic/

The Harbor Freight P51 is a very modest plane by today's standards using NiMh batteries and a brushed, geared motor.
A plane with a LiPo battery and a brushless motor with have something like twice the power to weight ratio and will thus behave much more like a nitro plane but quieter!

Thanks for the responses.

Yeah that harbor freight would not stay air borne at all. It was pretty humid here this last week so that could have been a contributing factor. Not sure. I was just not having it. lol
