BP Hobbies - E-Aero Eagle EPP Kit
Not sure if anyone is thinking of ordering this kit in near future, but think twice before you do. I have completed three ( 3 ) of these kits. The expense and time could be better utilized. I made numerous improvements and forwarded these ideas to BP Hobbies in the past without any acknowledgement ( 3 separate occasions ). It seems they are only interested in selling a product and the heck with any support for their customers.
If you do build this kit, I would highly recommend adding a hatch in front of the wing, provide bolt-on-wing provision ( eliminate rudder bands). Carbon Fiber rods provided with this kit are " round " but still allow the wing to " sag " or " droop ". The picture below shows the " droop " in the wing prior to adding additional support. Only way to eliminate this is to use flat carbon fiber strips placed at a 90 deg angle from the top of the wing.
