Default GWS Slow Stick Decals

I have a GWS Slow Stick. The decals will not stay stuck. I don't care about the graphics, but the same decal material is used for the hinges. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get the hinges to stick better, or a better material to use? Was I supposed to do some surface prep before I used the decals?

Clear packing tape works well for hinges. Just cut a piece to size.

Cleaning the surface with a little rubbling alcohol will let tape or decals stick better. But be careful on GWS foamies, because it can remove the paint along with fingerprints and dust...
