Spitfiremk1X, Thats a paint job from #57 racing Super Corsair.
My plane is a GWS F4U, covered with silkspan and Minwax wbpu. Color is Testors red and White.
The landing gear is new, but the same as the GWS, I added a slieve of plastic tubing, then aluminum tubing to simulate a real gear, then bent the axel bend.
Sorry, it's just for looks.

The Red Baron is a nice scheme also There is a red & creme variant of the Lucky Gallon also.

I too noticed the trick legs. Homemade? Retractable? Regardless they look good.[sm=thumbup.gif]

The gear legs are fake, just tubing. I also liked the color scheme on Cook Cleland super Corsair.

Always liked this plane so I thought I would try it. The stock aileron setup was a pain so I went with dual servos instead. Also had to really modify the battery bay and cover to fit my battery into it and still have it close. I went with an eflite 400 with 1320 3cell lipo, and have mounted a 10x6x3 prop on it. Will try to maiden it next weekend.

Here are a few shots:

Looks great! Where did you get your prop? Are 3 blades like that readily available? Have never had a use for them, but I'm getting a little more detailed with this project.

Good plane because the nose is long enough to not need dead weight added.
I put Velcro on it, to access the battery space. 4 VPX cells balanced OK. Pull - pull fishlines to the tail.
