Connecting DYS USB Linker to DYS XS30A
 

Hello,

I'm unable to connect DYS USB Linker to DYS XS30A.
These are the steps I made:
1. Downloaded BLHeliSuite 16.6.14.9.0.1
2. Installed the Silabs driver.
3. Connected the USB linker to a USB port on my PC.
4. Connected the servo lead from the XS30A to the USB Linker - such that the white wire goes into the signal probe and the black to ground (the middle wire is missing).
5. Chose #4 under the "Select ATMEL/SILABS Interface"
6. Chose the correct COM port and port speed.
7. Applied 12V power to the XS30A.
8. Pressed the "Connect" button.

I waited for 10 seconds and got the message:
Stk500v2 connection to ESC at COM5 failed!
(Error: "CMD_SIGN_ON: read => Timeout (no answer)

Please help.
