Hacker B50 14S, 14.8v lipoly 1500mah 4 packs, Jeti 70 opti, 15x10 or 16x10 APC electric, Diablotin Mini 3.75 lbs.

The performance is not impressive with this setup. Sent the batts back to Dymond to add another cell to each pack and don't have them back yet. If it doesn't really crank it up, the sale price will be cheap!

Any thoughts?

I Don't know about the bigger brushless, but seems like Jason Shulman was running 10S3P packs...42V.

Yeah, here is a clip from his E Pattern Plane set-up, I cut and pasted it in the last post in This Thread

Now his motor was a little different, and your plane is a lot smaller, but I bet you need more voltage. Hope the extra 3.7V gets you where you want to be.

Adding Volts is like adding cubic inches to that YS. R-R-R! :)

Just be careful that you aren't drawing too many Amps. When you increase Volts without rethinking the propeller load, you also end up raising Amps. If these are Kokams, you'll be good up to 48 Amps or so in a 5S4P setup, but you'll also have to watch the max current capacity of the motor. Simply drop to a smaller prop if you decide the motor's getting to hot.

Thank, Matt. I have some real good cooling over the motor, so hopefully that won't be an issue. Anyone know about how hot to run one of these without killing it?
Not using Kokam's, I bought the whole mess from Dymond at the AMA show earlier this month and I'm using his supplied cells, so it's anyones guess what the cells are.
