Electrical load...
Anybody has a good guess for the electrical load on a 4.8V, 4cell, 500mAh reciever battery pack? 4 standard servos (S3004) and 1 heavy duty (s3305). All servos are not digital and go in an GP Extra 300-.60, 9 1/2lbs, Saito 1.20.
What is the minimum voltage/cell that is considered safe when flying? Thanks Dragos |
RE: Electrical load...
Using a loaded voltmeter (like the Hobbico meters), it's generally accepted that when the voltage reaches 4.8V, it's time to recharge. By that time you're somewhere in the "meat" of the charge, but you could be just shy of the drop-off point too. Unfortunately, you can't tell where that is and if you go long enough to find out, it'll be too late. So, charge when you hit 4.8V on a loaded meter.
