anyone had any experience with Northeast Sailplanes 280 geared Pique? Just bought one- great sale @ $49.95. It's a copy of a 1930ties racer.

Sorry for the late response. I do not get up on the RCU board that much of late.

I have a Pique 3, originally from NESail, and have had it for some time. Many flights, a few good crunches, and numerous repairs/modifications. I like this plane and will build a second one probably late this year or early next, incorporating the changes I have made to the first one.

Original prop & prop adapter never used, I found the combination to problematic.


Present configuration, for Pique 3, #1:

E-flite Park 370 B/L motor
CC Phoenix 10 ESC
5:1 Gearing
9x6 SF APC prop
1500 S21P LiPo

Modifications: Wing mounting arrangement
Increased wing dihedral
