Receiver Problems?? Help!!!

I need help. I have a Hobbico Ventura and I had a crash. I had to replace the prop and spinner and made some minor repairs with clear tape to my wing. I thought that was all I needed. When I hook the battery up, the motor runs at full throttle with or without the transmitter on. Also, none of the flight contols respond when the transmitter is on. Has the transmitter been damaged? Could this be a problem with the ESC???

Please help. I am dying to get back up in the air...Thanks.

Try turning your transmitter on first then then plugging in the battery. If this doesn't work then I would say look at the esc for problems.

The answer to both questions is yes. I have turned on the transmitter first then connected the battery. Motor runs full throttle and none of the servos respond including the throttle.

Yes there is a safety switch that must be engaged prior to motor start, but this is not working either.

Not all esc have safety switches. Usually the rtf like Hitec have safety switches but if you buy an esc the majority of the time they will need a switch put in line for a safety switch.

Check to see if the crystal is OK.Crash may have broken the crystal,in which case there would be no connection between the trans. and rcvr.

You need a new ESC. When you crashed you probably had the motor still running and it got jammed, thay burned out your ESC.
