Beginner
 

I want a plane I can learn on that i wish could take off, but it doesnt have too. And must land. I am only worried about landing, cuz i already have a cheap plane, that im good at and any wind at all effects it. Any way what is a good ARF plane. I want it to be pretty fast, but not something i cant control. My plane now is slow as crap and it 2 channels. Thanks, jeff

I like and learned on the 4 channel Begin-Air, aka Wing-Dragon. For the money I think they are hard to beat.

I taught myself to fly with a T-Hawk. Pretty fast - so you need some space to fly it. You can take off from the ground or hand launch it. It's very durable and comes with an extra wing and tail feathers. It's also a pusher, so you seldom break a prop with less than perfect landings. Check it out at www.readytoflyfun.com.

After being out of RC Flying for 15 years, I re-taught myself to fly (successfully) with a GWS SlowStick. I destroyed a Great Planes Lil' Poke, a Great Planes Basic Light Trainer, and a Graupner Tipsy learning how to fly this time!

GWS DHC-2 Beaver taught me to fly :). Easy to repair unless you break the wings them selves, and it can be taken off and landed, or handlaunched and simply bellyflopped in the grass/tall weeds. One of the best flying GWS planes too, as far as i'm concerned. I'm going to buy another one day and stick floats on it.
