Astro cobalt 05 need help

I just bought a geared 05 that I want to use direct. I can't find a way to adjust the timing, can anyone help?

Thanks,

Phil

Astro cobalt 05 need help

See http://www.newcreations-rc.com/artic...d_afmotors.htm essentially you need to rotate the backplate 180 degrees to change the direction of the rotation then adjust for timing. Depending on the age of the motor there may be two sets of holes so that the timing will have enough adjustment. Also depending on your use you may be able to get by without removing the pinion so that your can quickly convert back to a geared configuratation in the future.

Check new Creations R/C web site. Kirk has some articles on timing Astro Motors. The procedure is essentially the same until you get to the 60.
