speed controll problems

I have a Gws P-51, a great planes 20 amp speed controller, and a 2 cell 7.4 volt thunder tiger li-po's. The problem is the moter is not turn on. What am I doing wrong? I did the arming proceedures a couple of times, re charged the batteries, yes I have over 7.4 volts, and have re checked all of my connections. It may be going into the trash very soon

What radio are you using? What type of motor and speed control. You give us nothing to work with in trying to help you.
Gary

RE: speed controll problems

Ah, yes,
Thank you for responding. The Radio is a J.R., XF631, 6 channel, and the plane has hi-tec H-55s, 4 of them, and the reciever is a micro from J.R. The motor is the generic one from GWS, the 350, with gear drive. All the servos work.
What other info would you like? Or need?

Is your ESC plugged into the correct port on your receiver?

Try putting the throttle trim all the way down. It that doesn't work, try lowering the throttle end point in your programming. Throttle may not be going low enough to arm the motor. Do oll this without the prop on for safety purposes.

nah. Futabas fault for putting the throttle channel in backwards:D And it doesn't tell you that anywhere. Any other questions, just holler. I'm getting my feet wet with some of the bigger 60 size electric stuff too, so it's all new to me. Not much info out there yet, so you have to do it yourself, but that's the challenge.

YEah, I too am getting my feet wet with electrics. It is nice to be able to keep your gear in the car for spontanious flying, esp. with my scedual. This is my 3rd electric, so we'll see how it treats me. I should be flying it today!
